Ancor® Synthetic Primer Type B is based on chlorinated rubber. It is quick drying and can be applied by roller, brush, airless and conventional spray. Its quick drying properties permit pipe section to be hot coated and wrapped within minutes.
It is pigmented black and comes ready for use within the viscosity limits as laid down by various pipeline specifications, such as AWWA, BS and BIS. On no account should it be thinned for ease of application.
Pipeline Standards
Ancor® Synthetic Primer Type B conforms to the following pipeline standards:
- British Standard BS 4164 Type B
- American Water Works Association AWWA C203 Type B
- Other primers can be manufactured to meet individual customer requirements.
